Patience, Care, and Compassion
Every animal has a unique personality and disposition. Because of this, every animal needs to be trained differently. This requires a unique trainer, with a wide range of experience and a wealth of knowledge. Whether you want to train a young animal, or an older animal, you need expert guidance to effectively train your animal. If you love your animal, you can count on Pawsitive K9 Academy to train with love and compassion.
Pawsitive K9 Academy uses only "positive reinforcement" methods and "clicker training". Harsh training methods and equipment such as pinch or prong collars, choker chains, and electronic collars are never used. Above picture: "Tucker & Daisy" ADVANCED OBEDIENCE CLASS 7 WEEK COURSE - $100.00 Dogs will proof out obedience cues and will learn to work “off-leash”. Additional hand-signals will be used to cue dog to down from a distance. Dogs will learn extended sit and down stays with owner out of sight, and increase distractions. Some obstacle training such as jumps and tunnels will be introduced

**UPCOMING CLASSES**
**New Location!** Romeo, MI 7 WEEK COURSE - $100.00 Introduction to basic obedience for dogs and puppies 10 wks. and older Your dog or puppy will learn: sit, down, stay, recall (come when called), leave-it, drop-it, watch-me, and loose leash walking (walking on a loose lease without pulling). Also behavioral issues such as “housebreaking, jumping up, and nipping, biting, chewing” will be covered. Group classes will also help with socialization and learning listen to you even with distractions. This class will help you become the Pack Leader. Only positive reinforcement training methods will be used. For dogs or puppies who have successfully completed beginner obedience Your dog will learn to build on basic obedience cues and achieve longer sit and down stays with both increased distance AND distractions. The heel will become more challenging with more complex turns and changes in pace and direction. Dogs will learn “stand”,” finish”, and “go-to-your-place”. “CANINE GOOD CITIZEN” CLASS 6 WEEK COURSE - $90.00 For dogs or puppies who have successfully completed intermediate obedience *Please use regular nylon or leather collars (buckle, adjustable, or martigale collars) and a 4-6 foot nylon or leather leash.

This class is designed to promote responsible dog ownership and promote good dog manners both in the home and community. Dogs that successfully complete this course will be able to take the actual American Kennel Club CGC Evaluation Test and receive their CGC Certification in the mail.
